Loved the race - 2014 Race
By: Gary Hauk - (Decatur)
My wife and I have been running this race since its first year, and it gets better each year. An even better course this time-- a new challenging hill, but good neighborhood cheering sections throughout, and terrific professional organizers overseeing it.

Be cautious of children who aren't always aware of other runners around them. A small annoyance, but not enough to slow down my PR this morning. And it's great to see parents and children running together.

Great for everyday runners - 2011 Race
By: Sam Shugard - (Chamblee, GA)
I love visiting Decatur, and the Tour Decatur course traces through neighborhoods, past schools, part of downtown, etc. Course is not easy, nor is it brutal -- good challenge for everyday runners. Lots of kids seem to run (school track clubs, etc.) but they add energy to the race. Volunteers friendly. I stayed for breakfast in Decatur afterward!
