Loved the race - 2009 Race By: Doug Miller - (Pittsburgh, PA)
I love this race because it has the best post race food...fresh regular and blueberry pancakes!!! Suggest the 10K to work up a really good appetite!
Nice course....unique start as you run up a small bridge. Pace yourself up the bridge because you have to come down and you will feel it in your quads! Enjoy the pancakes!

Liked the race - 2011 Race By: Albert Wieringa - (St Petersburg, FL)
This is a very well organized race with an excellent party afterwards. Definitely not a PR course because of the (2) big bridges that are part of the course.
Nevertheless a great -maybe a bit tough- race. The long sleeve technical shirt looked nice.

Topped Off With a Pancake Breakfast - 2010 Race By: Michael A. - (Tampa, FL)
Starting in Coachman Park, this race takes you over the Clearwater Memorial Causeway (twice) to make this one of the most difficult 5k races that I have ever run. If it is any consolation, the last half mile or so is almost entirely downtown so there is some energy left for a strong finish.
Arguably, the best part of this race comes at the end with a made from scratch pancake breakfast waiting for you (if you still have the stomach for it after the hills). Coming from Tampa, it was a bit of a trek to get to the race, but certainly worth it in the end.
