This race, in its 30th year, attracted about 970 runners and walkers. I fortunately arrived early as parking is at a premium. Racer packets could have been picked up the day before, but I retrieved it without any issues before the race. This race has a heavy emphasis on kids of which there were many. 1st year running, but it was amazing! Well organized. Fantastic volunteers along the way and the weather was perfect. Plan on putting this run on my schedule every year. Thank you for such a great opportunity

Sunset Stampede 5k
Race was average - 2013 Race

Race was okay. Very unorganized and disjointed from starting line and ending line being inseperate. Awards were AWFUL!! Coconut cup??? Sad that they can't do better as this race has the potential to really be a good one. I have to say, the food was good but the awards ceremony took way too long.
