Hooters to Hooters Half Marathon

Fairly technically challenging course in the front half; if you're not good at optimizing your line, figure you're going to be doing some extra distance. The back half has the major hill of the course on Mile 8 and 9 (out and back on the Edison bridge), then it's flat and straight to the end. Crowd support is decent, although not as good ...

Naples Daily News Half Marathon
A must-run for locals, and worth the trip. - 2013 Race

Easily the nicest race in the area. Plenty of crowd support, flat and gorgeous course (how many races have a priest blessing the runners at Miles 8 and 9?), with ample water and a great park to enjoy after the finish chute. After finishing the race, my immediate thought was "I've got to plan for this one next year."
